Thank Will hot favourite for 2nd Coral Regency Trial Stakes - Duplicated
Thank Will has been rated as hot favourite for the 2nd Coral Regency Trial Stakes - Duplicated at Hove in England on Sunday, May 13, 2012. The winning greyhound will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 13:27 GMT and the overall distance to cover will be 695 metres. A total of six quality runners have lined up for action in the race and their names are as follows: Thank Will, Penskey Rain, Perles Orchid,
Saveourstow Lass, Droopys Bianca and Ard Vark.
Looking at the impressive form of Thank Will, the bookmakers have awarded him with very good odds. He is expected to dominate the proceedings in the race, thus the punters will be looking forward to risk a lot of bets in his favour.
The D. Curtin’s trained runner has taken part in a few races at Hove and has enjoyed some decent results at this venue. If he gets a trouble free race today, he will not allow anyone else come closer.
The black dog took a comfortable win in his most recent outing, which means he is carrying excellent momentum right now. He was not expected to finish on top of the table, as the best odds were awarded to another participant. However, he displayed
very good stamina and emerged on top by a big margin of more than four lengths.
A similar run would ensure Thank Will another comfortable win today. He is the son of Black Shaw out of Peaceinthevalley and was born in March 2008.
On the other hand, Penskey Rain also seems to be in good touch at the moment, but he might not be able to take the top spot in this class. His performances in Grade A1 and A2 have been impressive, but things will be entirely different today.
The K. Hutton’s trainee has got very good speed and stamina, thus the punters are likely to risk a few bets in his favour as well. He has got a lot of experience, which will help him fight his rivals. He is the son of Flying Penske out of Catunda Lorraine
and was born in June 2008.
Other than the top two favourites, Perles Orchid will also be the one to watch out for in the race.
