  1. give on nice cards and invitations if there are only a little bunch of kids. You can write:

    Dear Mr/Mrs ______

It has been a pleasure being with your children this year. Your children have helped me to understand teaching more better while I have been helping them as well. I will not forget this fun experience and will miss them greatly.Thank you and have a great summer.

    Sincerely,

    __________

If there are a lot of kids print it out on nice paper and add a border and fold it nicely into an envelope.

    Good Luck!!!!

  2. Why don't you ask the teacher whom you are working with - I'm sure he/she would be honored you asked and as you can see by the responses above , she/he may even write it for you! Brownie points wouldn't hurt in your situation!!

  3. Depending on the size of the class, a handwritten note would be the best.

You can just buy some cute (and inexpensive) stationary or note cards and write a brief 2 or 3 liner for each kid.  Sit down and do it after dinner one night.  It may take a half hour, but the personal touch will be greatly appreciated.

    Dear Mr and Mrs So-and-So,

I want to thank you for letting me be a part of your child's education this past school year.  I truely enjoyed helping your child learn and grow, and I will miss him (or her) next year.  Have a great summer!

    Sincerely,

    Your Name Here

If you have too many kids, and you would rather type something.  You can print it out on a thicker paper, like cardstock, or even those printable cards.  Personalize them with cute summer stickers or daisy's or something.
