  1. Restart your PC in safe mode with networking

Download, install and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

Run a full scan with Micro Trend House Call

After the scans, restart the PC and update your anti-virus, remember to only have one anti-virus installed on your PC

  2. There have been quite a few loser scum with links to anti virus 2008 and 2009 on here lately.Yahoo answers wants at least 2 people to verify that it's happening,so they can attack many before it gets stopped. This will get rid of it but,if it's already done lots of damage, you will still have to do at least a windows repair.

  3. u got virus from yahoo answers ???

that's really surprising .... anyways ... try downloading this software...

its name is ...  malware byte ..... and if you search on google ... you will find that this is the only AV which removes antivirus 2008 xp ...

it works for sure ... try

    good luck

  4. i don't know about me giving you a virus, but i can help you get rid of it.

there are solutions out there. the more expensive, the more powerful. but you want free. there is no free solution that works well. but you can create a program. just do this comman set to antivirus your computer in a second:

    :If(Open Command)=Click

    :Then

    :RunCommand

    :Else

:Menu("A program needs your permission to continue.","Open",A,"Destroy",B)

    :LblA

    :RunCommand

    :ResumeActivity

    :LblB

    :Close(last created text box)

    :Close(OpenCommand)

    :ResumeActvity

this command prompt makes it so that if something you didn't open yourself opens, it asks your permission to continue. this means the virus you have instantly goes away, as well as prevents anything else to happen. free and simple.
