Ok so I recently got engaged ! Some close family members and friends have sent me and my fiance "Congratulations on your Engagement" cards. Even thought they didn't have gifts I would like to send a Thank You for the simple fact of them acknowledging it ! I am having a hard time coming up with a nice little verse to put inside the card. So i am asking for you help ! Thanks in advance = )

  1. Why don't you go on-line and look for a small poem or phrases... you know you can find anything on-line this days.

  2. Simplicity is always so nice. How about just saying,

"Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and hearts. Can wait to see you when we make are fresh start, love always..."

for thank you cards, i've found that its the surprise and the thought that most people love, that and the idea of getting a hand written note instead of an email. it feels so much more personal.

  3. It was so thoughtful to think of us during this exciting time in our lives. Thank you for your blessings and we hope to see you at the wedding.

Something like that would be nice.

  4. "I would like to thank you for the wonderful card! We are so happy to be engaged and are happy that you thought of us in this time! [We would absolutely love to see you on our wedding day.] *if inviting*

Please continue to pray for us. Thank you so much!"

  5. Do you plan on inviting these people to the wedding?

Maybe what you could do is include a nice picture of you and your fiance. Then you can say something like, "Thank you so much for your kind wishes. We cannot wait to celebrate with you at the wedding."
