for nominating someone with no name and no experience, thereby negating the only reasonable criticism of 08bama and ensuring that every time a Republican insists a person be heavily-credentialed to hold national office, he or she only means 'if you're a Democrat.'

what does mccain think he is? a Democrat?

  1. McCain/Palin will hold there own.  Don't be so pompus to think you have won, bud.

  2. I guess the same could be said about the Dem party--handing over a nomination to someone with no name and no experience--over the more qualified person with the popular vote.   McCain is a maverick.   ***

  3. yeah thank i an obama supporter aproves

  4. The presumptive GOP nominee has earned the nickname “Exxon John” for his close ties to Big Oil. Thirty-three former oil and gas lobbyists either work for or raise money for “Exxon John’s” campaign, and his energy scheme includes a jaw dropping $4 billion in tax cuts to the top five oil companies.

Under “Exxon John’s” energy scheme, Exxon Mobile – a corporation that makes $300,000 in the time it takes Californians to fill their gas tanks and recently reported record profits – would receive $1.2 billion in tax breaks.

Though “Exxon John” recently blamed our dependence on foreign oil on the inaction of "politicians in Washington" over the last 30 years, he himself has been in Washington for 26 years. In that time, he has developed a cozy relationship with Big Oil:

    • “Exxon John” McCain has at least 33 former oil and gas industry lobbyists raising money for or advising his campaign.

    • His campaign staff and fundraisers include former representatives of BP, Chevron Texaco, Exxon-Mobil, Shell, Sunoco, and the American Petroleum Institute.

    • At least one of McCain's lobbyists, Wayne Berman, continued to lobby on behalf of the oil and gas industry while working for McCain.

    • “Exxon John” McCain’s energy “plan” includes nearly $4 billion in tax cuts to the top five oil corporations, including $1.2 billion for Exxon-Mobile alone.

  5. Obama voted for the Bush and Cheney Energy Bill....

Did he forget to tell you about this change?

  6. He basically shot himself in the foot with this.  He's delusional if he ever thought this would win Hillary voters, and now he's also lost his experience card.

Not only do the democrats now have about 50 new strong attacks against McCain with this VP choice, McCain now has no legible attack against Obama that won't make him look like a hypocrite.
