  1. Decree of divorce is usually issued after few days the Judgment is passed & divorce order announced in the court. This being almost similarly worded as the Judgment , formal expression of an adjudication & conclusive determination of the dispute between the parties , this has to be just typed & signed by the District judge but being usual official job get delayed. The Decree of divorce one requires to amend his or her previous marital status to divorcee or to get remarried a second time & get the second marriage registered with the Registrar of Marriages. The official whoever has to make changes in your martial status or get you married or register your second marriage will ask for the decree of divorce although you can attach the judgment in the divorce proceedings to prove the new marital status as you know in India no hard & fast rule followed but if the decree of divorce is insisted then you have to wait for that to be signed by the District Judge, then only you can apply & get its certified copy , however both the parties are supposed to be provided free of cost copy of the decree of divorce attached with the complete judgment of divorce . Decree finalises the divorce for all purposes if not appealed against it within ninety days from the date of the decree or order.
