Or whichever sounds better, to end a letter to someone spending time in the vinyards on the coast of northern Italy....?

  1. "Goditi degli olivi ed il vino!"

    godi = enjoy

    goditi = enjoy yourself

    degli olivi = of the olives

    e / ed = and

    il vino = the wine

  2. "Goditi le olive ed il vino." (singular)

    "Godetevi le olive ed il vino." (plural)

    You can also use "e" instead of "ed", it's a style question.

  3. Enjoy = Buon, goditi, divertiti

    Olives = olive (plural)

    wine = vino

    Goditi le olive ed il vino;

    Maybe in Italian "GODITI" could sound strange and hardly some mother tongue use this word.

    I think it's appropriate to change the sentence in : "Divertiti [tra] le olive ed il vino"

  4. Goditi le olive ed il vino!

    Ciao
