  1. The cost of living would depend on your lifestyle  Sydney is expensive the further away from the city the cheaper the housing. As for negotiating of salary take a look at some employment agencies to see what the usual salary is.

  2. The cost of living is extremely high. Child care costs are going up, petrol is very expensive, best to live close to public transport.
