Thanks for looking, i am looking for a cheap summer mooring or berth for my 6 meter cruiser.Fairlie quey suck.

AS i was saying basically when i put my boat into storeage with FAIRLIE Quey last december i was told i would get a mooring from them when the time came but now the time has come they have LET ME DOWN. so i have till the 11th of april to find a mooring (cheap) i hope fairlie was charging £650 from 1st april to 1st september.

so anything around that price or cheaper i have a trailer with the boat also. but it's on a cradle just now after being antifouled.

so please anyone with a heart or a big drive who lives near or in glasgow. or anyone who knows some secluded moorings that are cheap or how i can apply for my own. I AM STUCK and NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE genuinely i am in a pickle come the 11th April. finally FAIRlie Quey aint so FAIR. i find it dispicable they can verbally agree you will get a mooring take the money for winter storage then let you down when it comes to the moorings being available, im not evn on the list " sorry sir brand new customers only).

There are various options you can try.  Millport Bay is one the contact i think is Stuart McIntyre on 01475 530566 . There are moorings at Cairnies Quay in Largs thru Largs sailing Club,another one to try is Clyde Marina in Ardrossan On 01294 607077 , also there  is Irvine harbour contact the Cruising club at the harbour . TRy Windermere cost me £619 april to april, yes  i know its a lake but its not that far from Glasgow for a weekend getaway

Google search lake wardens for info the y are very helpful

Failing that for dry storage try caravan storage people

why not hire it out put it on ebay as a weeks hire for a few hundred quid at a time, solve your mooring problem and make some easy cash...
