Thanks for the answers about going to Cancun in October.?

What is the better month to travel to Cancun, Sept, Oct or Nov. Please help, I am trying to plan a trip to Cancun to surprise my wife, Thanks for all your help...

We went to Cancun in October, stayed at the Moon Palace the beginning of October and the weather was beautiful. We did get some rain but it was at night.

I would pick October even though it's still hurricane season. I think I would take the chance. Just take out travel insurance that covers weather conditions as a back up plan.

Mid- August through September is the busiest month for tropical storms.

Go and enjoy yourself.)

I went to cancun in November and it was great, only had one day bad weather out of 14.

Mid-October - we had rain, but it was refreshing and the weather was wonderful!!  We even had thunderstorms off the coast and it was beautiful to watch.  But keep in mind, that is towards the end of Hurricane season, so you may have to deal with that!

Just keep in mind that those months are hurricane season.  Hurricane season runs from June through November, but most of the storms hit in the fall months.

Otherwise, the weather is really nice in Sept and Oct
