  1. POLAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  2. How about India.

  3. If you mean who's next on Georgia's list for ethnic cleansing hopefully no one after Russia intervened and prevented any more of these atrocities been carried out. It's just a shame Bush cant see past the oil pipeline to actually see what Russia had stopped :)

  4. How about Ukraine?

  5. Life is always simple when it's black and white.

First it wasn't Russia but Georgia that provoked and started the war. Before skirmishes between Georgia and S.O started, it was Russia that brought a resolution calling for hostilities to cease, ignored by US. It was Russia that called for peaceful resolution, again ignored by US.

People of S.O have been independent since 1992, they have made it abundantly clear they want nothing to do with Georgia. Majority of S.On's have Russian citizenship. S.O army fought alongside Russia against Georgia. So Kosovo has the right to be independent but not S.O????

Then the myth Georgia is a democracy. It is a corrupt and totalitarian regime, a police state no better than Russia.

You do know Russia had warned Georgia against any attack and were prepared. There is no doubt Georgia would not have dared provoke Russia without the backing of US.

A lot going on here, it is not simple as that. It is US that is trying to flex its muscles and increase its influence. Russia has clearly warned that it will protect its interests. Russia has warned US against defense shield in Europe. So US wants to gain influence and step over Russia but at the same time expects Russia not to do anything.

Another misconception that Europe takes the same stance against Russia as US. No they have a completely different frame work and are not interested in imperial gains. Not to mention Europeans get their OIL from Russia.

Another misconception that some how US/Bush has any influence over Russia or Europe. Bush LITERALLY has no influence over Russia or Europe, which is clear from these circumstances. It was French president Sarkozy that brokered the deal. Bush is a lone wolf, can bite but has no teeth.

There is no need for provocation, escalation or to start another cold war. No need to go offensive and provoke an retaliatory offensive reaction.

"By declaring the Caucasus, a region that is thousands of miles from the American continent, a sphere of its 'national interest,' the United States made a serious blunder."
