Who are the best college QB's ever to not do good in the pro's.

Anybody u thought would be good but upset u?

Andre Ware - Houston

Danny Wuerffel and Rex Grossman - Florida

Akili Smith, and Joey Harrington - Oregon

Rick Mirer - Notre Dame

Ty Detmer - BYU (though he was a great backup)

Charlie Ward - Florida State (guess he doesn't really count since he went pro in basketball)

Chris Weinke - Florida State

Eric Crouch - Nebraska

Jason White - Oklahoma

Chris Winker from Florida State who was drafted by the Panthers in the 4th round... He won Heisman trophy in 2000, won Davey O'Brien Award and the Johnny Unitas Award, in his career his record 32-3, held numerous records most passing yards and passing touchdowns in his college career. He also led FSU to undefeated season and won the national championsip... He led his team to beat Virginia Tech with Micael Vick 46-29... Then he lead FSU to the Orange Bowl but FSU lost.... In his NFl career he won 2 games and lost 18 games as a starter

Gino Torreto is another former heisman who didn't even make a team.

Charlie Ward - heisman winner, but played ok basketball. Even he knew he would suck in the pros.

Any QB under spurrier system. All suck in the pros.

Since all Pro QB's came through college and most of them were good enough to be drafted then it's safe to say they did good in college. Obviously you have many QB that just cant cut it in the pros.

Eric crouch...he retired after being drafted because he didn't want to play receiver because he thought he could play QB..

Honestly anyone who won a Heisman at the QB position because in recent history I don't think a single one of them did anything in the pros. Then add Ryan leaf to that list.
