  1. L'Oceanogràfic

  2. The aquarium is in Valencia in "La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias". This place is incredible. Is like a modern Acropolis designed by the architects Santiago Calatrava (famous for the bridges in all Europe and the principal structures of the Olympics in Athens) and Felix Candela. The "City" is part of a green belt that pass across Valencia in the old bed of the Turia river.

I visit the place last year and it deserves a full day excursion.

I really like the buildings, the beluga wales, the dolphins show and the the tunnels inside the big aquariums.

Don't miss the Imax theater if one of the most incredible buildings that I ever see. The building is like a big eye surrounded by pools. The city of Valencia was not in my original travel plan, but like you I see a documentary that convince me to go there.

  3. It's in Valencia.  A stunning place to visit.  Apart from the aquarium which is housed in La Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias (The Arts & Sience City) there are a whole range of activities to explore.  I have included a link to their home page which is worth checking out.

As well as this wonderful place, Valencia is a stunning city with lots to discover and enjoy.  Way too much to go into here, but visit a few pages on the city and you'll get lots of information about their culture, their fiestas (!!!), gastronomy, surrounding beauty spots and so much more.  The people are very friendly and I know that you'll love your visit there if you decide to go.   However long you stay, you'll wish it was longer.

They are also getting ready for the America's Cup sailing event which is taking place this year.

Do go though - it is well worth it.

    Hope this helped.
