Let me tell you Italy is a fantastic place their are lots of sights, people, food and the culture and yes the beaches are wonderfull also.

  I lived in Italy on the Island of Sicily for 13 years and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

  If you really want to get to know Italy and it's people you need to live their talk to them get to know the language and spend time their it is a most fantastic place.

  I have been away now since 2002 and believe me I do miss the food, pastries, wine even though I am not much a wine drinker,the cafe and cuppiacno, but most of all the people.

  Today it's much more expensive today then when I was their in 2002 but the price still makes it a place where everybody aught to go at least one in their live and I can say I Loved it  and still do but I know one day I will go back.

Lived there 1984-1987 and loved it.  Good food, wine, weather, sights, prices, and beaches.
