  1. Try an S.O.S. pad....they work pretty good for me.....

  2. Combine a past of hydrogen peroxide, cream of tartar and baking soda is a safe, bleach free way to get rid of soap scum in your tub.

  3. I also have the textured bottom and found by using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers it takes all the scum off... I was amazed at how good a job it does... no cleaner needed... Just wet and scrub .... I found some no name magic erasers at Walmart that do just as good a job and are alot cheaper than the Mr Clean erasers... You will be amazed at how nicely the scum comes up ... Hope this helps you...

  4. Use  bleach. Run a little water and let it soak. Then rinse...it is good for your drain, too.

  5. Dishwasher detergent the powdered kind and stiff bristled scrub brush.

  6. Tilex soap scum remover and I would let it sit.

  7. Put bleach also use ajax or comet whichever let it sit over night then scrub in the morning or just for a couple of minutes.

  8. I just went through this problem - my roomie moved out and left me with a blackened shower basin that is also textured and fiberglass. I tried a lot of different shower cleaner with no success. I went out and bought Kaboom toilet/drain cleaner with bleach (you don't need to use much, this is STRONG stuff, also be sure to wear cleaning gloves) and let it sit on there for a bit. I took a Scotch scrubber sponge to it and worked it in. It took the black off the bottom pretty quickly. If that doesn't work for you, I have also used Westley's Whitewall cleaner (you can get it at any auto shop) with a Magic Eraser sponge on some of my worst cases with success, so you may want to give that a try if nothing else does the trick. Good luck :)
