Do you really want to compare these two? With all the backstreet nonsense that is associated with boxing? With a magnificent Rugby World Cup that has just ended?

Rather compare apples with apples. Compare boxing with other individual fighting sport like WWF or the eastern fighting disciplines. And rugby with other team ball sport like rugby league, Aussie footie or American football.

As to your question, I will go with rugby everyday.

Agree with what plomza said. Both are the most noble in their categories. Both test your strengh, endurance, speed, and reflexes, and both´s followers dont engage in silly fights like soccer fans.

the boxing rugby is a puffy sport with grown men jumping all over each other, but then again it seems to be the only sport that us Englishmen are any good at, at the moment, but in boxing they pound the **** out of each other and still shake hands at the end so boxing my Friend is more noble
