It is nonsense to think he would have done that though.  He would never stoop so low as that.  To have one's honor stripped bare by the masses...  it is scandalous.  He would never bring that sort of dishonor on his wife.

Dianna was not a disgrace, per se, she just shook the mantles a bit.  She was simply a thorn in the side.  Though in a way her existance helped evolve the monarchy into the 21st century.  The challenges presented by Dianna helped the monarchy to weigh was was currently most urgent in the agenda of the people.

I honestly think that the death of Dianna, was a terriable stupid accident that would not have happened if she chose to keep the royal detectives and security after her divorce.   What the Royal Family was very good at eliminating was the truth about Prince Philip's family.  Three of his sisters married n**i officials and settled in Germany.   A lot of people do not know about that!
