it's based on the novel by stephanie meyer. there are three more novels after it (new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn). it's a really good book i've read them all twice and can't wait for the movie. i think it's more a chick flick but a guy might enjoy it. it's about a girl (bella swan) who falls in love with a vampire (edward cullen) and her bestfriend is a werewolf (jacob black). it's got a bit of action, romance and fantasy mixed together. in australia it apparently comes out on like december 12 or something not sure though. i think it would be good to take a girl to, except she'll probably want to watch it rather than hook up. i don't know what it's rated. be at least pg i think.

1. Yeah it kinda is. It's aimed more at the female audience as the protagonist (the main character) is a teenage girl but I have a friend (whose a guy) whose read all the Twilight books and is going to see it the first day it comes out.

2. It's about a girl that falls in love with a vampire. Just warning you though, the author of the book it's based on really messed with the whole vampire image. They don't even have fangs :[

1) i think so. since the book appeals mostly to ladies

2) a very handsome,perfect kinda guy name edward cullen that is a vampire love this ordinary girl named bella swan. they are in high school in a small town name forks. edward  loves her but she is a great temptation to him. in order to make their relationship work, edward tried alternative ways to keep himself in control when around her(try not to kill her). and they got together halfway through the book. this vampire named james happen to pass by forks. saw bella and edward defended her coz he think james wanna kill her so that sparks off james' interest in bella. he want to kill her. james that kind of freak that likes challenges so he is sorta challenging edward by trying to kill bella. he is also a tracker which means he is trained to track people wherever the run which makes edward and bella harder to escape . so the race starts. they run trying escape and i shall say no more.. kinda most exciting part.
