  1. No, sorry, but it was close.

The English put up a great fight though.

  2. technically No wrong-his foot touched the line before he lifted it up and grounded the ball,as soon as his foot touched the line he is out-besides probably wouldn't have made a lot of difference anyway

  3. No, it was not a try.  Have you not seen any of the coverage of this supposed "try"?  Learn the rules of the game and then you will understand that if you touch the line, you are OUT!

  4. Nah mate. The TMO made the right call. But if that try was allowed the momentum would've swung

  5. Close but no cigar i'm afraid :( Full credit to England thou for thanking the fans and not running off into the changing rooms to sulk :)

  6. Ashar,

Spot on! Anybody doubting the try, look at image. Sure it was close but not a try

  7. Wrong. It was close though.

  8. Wrong.

  9. His knee or foot touched the line before he touched down unfortunately.  Them's the rules.  They moved the line!

  10. yes- the front page of the sports section of the daily telegraph has a very clear picture of Cueto's leg up in the air, not in touch when the ball was down.

  11. no try.....sorry for your loss

  12. judge for yourself......

    foot on line no try!.....

  13. 10 pictures of Cueto's leg in the air while the ball is grounded does not mean it is a try. One needs only one pre-grounding picture with his foot touching (not even on, not even over) the line. As it is, there are several with his foot on the line, debatable whether it is over the line or not. Once such frame can be viewed by clicking on a link in this forum. If the English papers showed pictures of the view from behind, and argue from what it shows, that it was a try, I would have retained my respect. As it is, they all delibirately choose pictures of the "moment of scoring". If you step out, and proceed to touch down under the posts, you may get a great photograph, but it will still not be a try.

It was very close, but very clear..Maybe England deserved a try from a great attack. However, a video frame with the ball not yet grounded, and a foot touching the line is conclusive.

  14. most definatley...and did the south africans pay the ref cos some of those decisions were a bit iffy to me
