  1. It's always safest to thaw in the frig...but doesnt freezing the tofu mess with the consistancy a bit? I have heard mixed opinions on the texture of frozen hummus but I have yet to freeze tofu...I froze the hummus anyway & I will find out in a week or so how that worked out, in MY opinion.

       I checked this out online & she agreed that to cook with frozen changes the texture, so I am not alone on that one. GOOD LUCHT


  2. I thaw mine in the fridge.  It takes a few days, but it works for me.  And as the other person pointed out, freezing tofu does change the texture of it and make it chewier.
