  1. well that really wouldn't do good for your car. There's a few things you should know here...Your car is an economy car, it wasn't built for performance. With that in mind, engaging vtec earlier will do nothing but reduce your gas mileage, burn your oil away faster and wear down your engine faster too. A vtec controller is used in performance Honda's, the economy Honda's wont get much out of it besides increased wear like i said. If you want to add some HP, add a cold air intake, exhaust, and headers. Your car will sound better and you'll gain a few HP, nothing drastic though. Just don't go put on a huge exhaust that does nothing but look out of place! A good cold air intake, headers and a subtle catback exhaust will sound good and give you a little more go.

  2. to be honest it really wont help to much because it doesnt have a vtec in it. that year should already be running an i-vtec and thats what the intellegent part is for. the vtec is always running it just adjust itself to the drivers throttle. and its alway running it just gives it alittle more pull when you floor it then when you are just cruising.

  3. Nope don't waste ur money, ur car is made to be a fuel efficient a vtec controller will not give ur car some juice, save ur money and buy a Civic Si =D.
