the age of manufacturing and the great economic growth! stocks and bonds, putting store-bought goods on "credit"- i.e. the old version of the credidt card. The rebelious age of the prohabition era- i.e. breaking free of society's ideals and having some fun!

Also, modernization which led to constant scientific and industrial inventions- which is still growing today!
