He died a few years later. He basicly was just some lunatic who was trying to sabatoge the fight and maybe make himself famous at the sametime. Supposedly he broke his back on the landing not to mention getting the h**l beat out of him by many people in the crowd.

He Was Arrested

He actually landed on the ring apron, just outside the ropes.  Some people at ringside ganged up on him and beat him up until he was escorted by the police outside the arena.  He was charged of course, but somehow the lunatic was later released and he would repeat his caper in another sporting event after some time.  Apparently, he did that professionally, just like a streaker in a football or baseball game.
