Bolt is a freak of nature. He broke Michael Johnson's record which I thought would stand for many years.

Great Result CONGRATULATIONS Jamaica.... and I called it before the race. I said he was going to break the record! Fine Run Mr Bolt!

I feel really sorry for Speorman... Such a little infringement and it made no difference to the result but he gets dq'd... Sometimes the rules are cruel.

On the upside Speorman was such a sportsman both in victory and even more so when he was dq'd! That is a real gentleman! There's your Olympic ideal in real life!

omg it was incredible! he had no competition at all!..

even though he said the record didnt matter as much as winning first n foremost, i think every1 was quietly confident he would beat it

i was in awe seeing him run serious for the whole race.. if he was serious in the 100metre final, it wouldve been insane!

Bolt is THE man! and he has character.. always cool to watch him race
