  1. kayaber suspension isnt that great i dont know why yamaha dont use showa but all you can do is get diffrent springs that are the right weight for you and get the forks re valved and put ohlins  oil in them  then get the person doing the suspension for you to set it up for you.

before you do this just make sure your tripple clamps arent overtightened as if they are they stop the forks working properly also try bleeding the forks this might help a little

  2. You did not mention your weight or ridding ability, I have had  a 02 04 06 07 yz250f and have never found the forks to be to stiff. On the 06 I ran the compression 10 clicks out and the rebound 12 click out. If your light under 145 I would say to get a lighter set of springs, if you dont want to spend much money run the oil level towards the low side, this is in the service book. Also the way that your back shock is working has a lot of feedback to the front, I ran the Compression at 11 clicks out and the rebount at 10 clicks out. The sag was set a 3-3/4".  On all My Yamaha's I always start in the middle with everything. If the bike is new and has not been ridden hard it takes a while for it to set in. Hope this helped!
