firstly , has anyone had a period and been pregnant . i got my period 10 days early than due last month and it lighter than usual (much lighter , like didnt even fill up 1 tampon a day) but lasted for ages like 10 days.

secondly has anyone been on the pill whilst pregnant ? i missed 4 pills this month in a row from the 12th til the 16th and had unprotected s*x on the 16th (which i worked out would be my most fertile day)

lastly , how far along do you have to be to of had a misscarriage . i had some unexplained bleeding and really bad belly ache (which felt nothing like period cramps) when i wasnt due on after having s*x on the 16th. i have no idea what it was and it lasted about a day. im really worried incase it was m/c ?

thanks so much for taking your time to read this (i know its long and its like 3 questions in one lol.) but i would really appreciate some detailed answers. thankyou and 10 points to the best,

=)

  1. Had 3 months of light period with my first pregnancy.  Bled off and on during my second pregnancy (now) up until about 2.5 mos.

  2. no matta wot and i mean this you can NEVA have a period while pregnant. you can bleed but its not a period. bleedin is never normal but can be ok. but you should get checked out still

  3. Heya

    1. I know it is possible to have a period whilst pregnant , although it is very rare. but since it was a weird period it could well be , or it could of been effected due to stress or diet change.

    2. if you arn't thorough with your pill taking there is a definate chance you can be pregnant. some poeple even get pregnant on the pill when they take it everyday ritually. even more chance due to having s*x on your most feritle day.

    3. im not sure about this one to be honest. i think you can have a m/c anytime in the first trimester. not sure though. you might be best going to the doctors and seeing what this bleeding was.

if you need to talk email me. =] x*x

  4. Period while pregnant= Yes, you can. Some woman will have their period the whole time they are pregnant.

Pregnant on the pill= You can get pregnant on the pill even if you take it everyday. 2 of my sisters did. The pill is not 100% effective. So, if you did not take it like you should then there is an even higher chance of getting pregnant. On the other hand there are woman who keep the hormone in them even after they stop using it and it takes them a while to get pregnant. It all depends on the woman and type of birth control.

Miscarriage= I had one when I was 13 weeks and another when I was only 2 weeks. I miscarriage is loosing the baby anytime after implantation up to a certain point in the pregnancy (ie after 20 weeks).

The best thing to do is to go to the dr. because if you are not pregnant then you need to find out what is going on. If you had a miscarriage you need to be checked out because it can cause an infection if you need a DNC and you do not get one. If you are pregnant then you need to start on your prenatals and the other stuff that needs to be done and screened when you are pregnant.

Good luck and I hope I helped.

  5. 1) it is possible to have your period while pregnant. but most of the time implantation bleeding is mistook for a really really light period

    2) it is possible to get pregnant at any time if you don't take the pill correctly

    3) you can have a miscarriage at any time during pregnancy, but they are more common in the first trimester.

with my first miscarriage i bled really heavy for 21 days with very severe cramping && by the time i got to the drs I was pretty much done miscarrying && didn't require any medical procedures, with my second one i bled really heavy for 2 days with severe cramping && then had a d&c.

  6. Hi!

Yes, it is possible for you to have a period when you are pregnant, i've heard of girls having their period up until their third month, so it is possible.

Something i found out while i was on the pill was that if you stopped taking the pill for more than 2 days and you've been on it for a while then your body thinks that you are taking the "sugar pills" =the pills you take the week of your period. So then you automatically get your period. For instance, it also works when you are going to go on a vacation and you know you'll be on your period and you dont want to (& you are not on the pill) then you just buy a pack of BC pills and take them for that week and you WONT get your period.Youll get it oncce you stop talking the pills (i've knows girls who have asked me for my pills to do that to go to a trip to Vegas lol) it works both ways, so if your period came early it was most likey because you missed those 4 pills and it lasted longer because you didnt start a new pack as you would if you were taking the sugar pills.(your body is just used to that routine) I dont know if im explaining it good, sorry. p.s i've also heard but havent verified with my doctor that even if you stop taking the pill, it stays in your system for at least 30 days.

About the miscarriage, i wouldnt know...you should call those Advice Nurses at Planned Parenthood or something, they will let you know.

  7. First

you do not get a period while pregnant, you can have some bleeding but it's not a period.

    Second

I have not personally experienced pregnancy while on birth control but it is possible.

    Third

You can have a miscarriage at any point, it would only be cells now and not a fetus but chances are that early you wouldn't even notice a miscarriage.

    Hope I helped.
