The 3Star Quicksilver Snowjam to begin in Czech Republic soon
The 3Star Quicksilver Snowjam is going to start on the 5th of March in Spindleruv Mlyn resort, Czech Republic. The event will be returning with the Slopestyle action and best snowboarders in Czech Republic.
It will feature two days of intense competition and thrill as 30 exciting riders go against each other to achieve victory, a slice of the prized purse, and the valuable Swatch TTR Ranking points.
Quicksilver Snowjam has been treating the Czech Republic winter sports fans for almost a decade now. A few modification in the event has helped to increase the hype of the event as well as the entertainments the spectators derive out of it. It started out
as a Big Air contest, but with the passage of time and series of tweaks, it finally shifted to the slopestyle format. The slopestyle course was created at the Spindleruv Mlyn, arguably the best ski resort in Czech Republic.
The freestyle snowboarding fans will get to see the World Big Air Champion, Markky Koski from Finland, compete in the contest and put up a fight to defend his last year’s title. Other international stars will also be participating in the contest, namely
French Mathuieu Crépel, who has already tasted the World Championship title twice and has first ever Champion of the Swatch TTR World Tour. Czech Republic has its’ own share of talented riders who will be pumped up to prove themselves in the event and give
the more recognized riders a run for their money. These include Jan Necas, Matej Novak and Martin Cernik. Martin also happens to be the co-organizer of the Snowjam.
"I am really looking forward to the Quiksilver Snowjam event, which will be held a little earlier than usual this year - in the beginning of March. The already fifth edition of the competition will apparently host the best riders in history. Naturally, the
competition will also include the evening jump show known as Nutcase Best Trick, which gives riders the opportunity to show the latest snowboarding tricks," said Martin.
Quicksilver Snowjam intends to not only serve an opportunity to the up-and-coming snowboarders to get a taste of serious competition; it also seeks to provide pure entertainment to the crowd. That is why there will be a music programme as well to keep the
environment electrified aside from the sensational Snowboarding Slopestyle contest. The open concert would be featuring bands such as Bug 'n’ Dub and Sunshine. Of course the after parties will not be any less spirited with famous DJs like Jorgos, Friky, and
Ladida in charge of making the crowd have a wonderful time.
Quicksilver Snowjam is the only competition in Czech Republic that qualifies as the 3star event by the standards set by Swatch TTR World Tour. The 3Star event increases its appeal as it offers a substantial amount of TTR Ranking points. These points have
become extremely crucial as the TTR Tour is closing in on its climax, due next month at the 6Star Burton US Open.
