Yes she is.... and to spoil it even more, she gives birth to her half vampire half human (yes, it's her and Edward's) and Edward has to change her because her life is on the edge of a cliff... and then, bada bing! She's a vampire that's almost more beautiful than Rosalie!

and yes she becomes a vampire. she transitions very quickly and doesn't act how a newborn usually acts either.
