Hypothetical Situation: Global warming has gotten the best of us and Antarctica is melting and will flood the world, drowning everyone. As inconvenient as it may seem, all the world's vehicles have been destroyed except one. This is a plane that only has 5 seats!

So now to the question, who would be chosen to go on this plane? Who would be regarded as the most useful for humanity's continuation beyond this disaster?

If all the world's glacial water that is locked up in ice were to melt, ocean levels would only rise a maximum of 244', which is why the "Bibical Flood" could not have covered the entire world, only the Mesopotamian Valley...

Anyway, this is why hypothetical questions are usually not well thought out!

Eventually the airplane would run out of gas, and that much heat would have to be contended with, which is why we will eventually have to colonize another planet.
