P.S I can't understand how to get it.

  1. to find the averge to need to find the area under the curve in the region and devide by length

    area = int e^-x = -e^-x

    at x = 0 it is -1 and at ln 1/2 it is -e^-(ln 1/2) = -1/2

    so area = -1 +1/2 = -1/2

    LENGTH =  ln 1/2

    so average = -1/2 ln 1/2 or 1/ln 4

    so ans is b
