  1. That isn't really  known.   Remains of NON-Amerindian people have been found in Washington State and Nevada which dated LONG before the 1700s.

    As a response for one of the answers: I never heard of Mexicans traveling to Montana with the Spanish and populating the area.  I think the "politically correct" short bus has lost a passenger.


  2. Native Americans, they are not from India and that is a very insulting term for them.

    There were Mexicans who were half Native and half Spanish in all areas of south and western U.S. from the 1400's on.
