The Ancient Art of Illumination =)?

Question

in school we need to do our name with the first letter illuminated, like midieval like =D might have spelt that wrong. Anyways, I cant find a good enough example.. anyone wanna help?

We're doing stuff on ancient rome, greek, all those kinds of things.
