The Argentinean tennis ace, Juan Martin del Potro
The professional tennis player from Argentina, Juan Martin Del Potro was born on 23rd September, 1988 in the city of Tandil. He is currently ranked as the world number seven tennis player by the ATP. The right handed player is the top ranked tennis ace of his country.
The 1.98 meters tall Del jumped to the top ten worlds ATP rankings on the very first occasion back in October, 2010. The Argentinean tennis player earned his career top ranking of world number four player towards the start of this year.
Juan began playing the game of tennis when he was just seven years of age. Del succeeded in his very first senior game back in 2004 when he was still as young as fifteen. Two years ago, Del became the very first tennis player in the history of ATP to gain his first four career trophies in as many championships. He also finished the second lengthiest success streak back in 2008, as well as the second lengthiest by a youngster in the Open Era, behind the Spaniard tennis ace, Roger Federer with his record streak stretching over a total of twenty three matches over five championships.

The twenty one years old Juan turned professional back in 2005. The next year, Del further improved his game and managed to participate in his very first ATP tour competition and knocked down Albert Portas before falling down by Fernando Gonzalz in the round number two of the tournament. Later on, Del succeeded in the Copa Club Campestre de Aguascalientes by beating Sergio Roitman in the finals with a match score as 3–6, 6–4, and 6–3. In the same year, Del also managed to qualify for his very first Grand Slam event at the French Open however, was knocked down by Juan Carlos Ferrero.
