I think we should just be thankful that The Attitude Era happened.

If The Attitude Era is back what would happen?

No one could talk like The Rock?

No one could wreak havoc like Stone Cold?

Bringing back Stone Cold and DX?

Isn't that stupid that 40 year olds acting like teenagers?

WWE would just s***w it up like the NEW ECW.

  1. YES, YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I loved the Attitude Era, but your right it shouldn't come back. What would be the point, people would have high hopes on it being the exact same but it NEVER would be so why try? And about the 40yr old remarks, WTH you don't have to be 40 to have loved the Attitude Era, I mean I grew up watching it and I'm 15! To answer your Q's bringing The Rock (somehow) DX (todays DX is just HBK and HHH and is NOT the same as the original) or Austin WOULDN'T make the Attitude Era today. If there were to be one (knock on wood) it wolud revolve around todays roster and giving main event faces an edge of some sort. Though I do wish that we had the original Undertaker who was way more dark and scared me to death all the time lol.

  3. Well the Attitude Era was great, but if they brought it back, people will be saying the original one  was much better, they shouldn't bring it back, but they should definetly make it worth watching again by targeting an older audience, and trying something original that hasn't been done before.

  4. You kid of make a good point just imagine undertaker with his lord of darkness suit

  5. You make a really good point. Everyone gets mad because the Attitude Era is gone, but really, you can't even blame WWE for that.. The Rock left voluntarily. Stone Cold can't wrestle because of his neck. DX is going to have a hard time reuniting given that Shawn Michaels is retiring soon..

If WWE tried to bring back the Attitude Era, people would just say it's nowhere near as good as back then. I think we need to move on. I sure as h**l miss it though.

  6. It's dead and buried like the ECW movement grow up get over it people. They aim WWE at kids now hence the lame chain gang RKO gimmicks the wrestling hey day is over. Silver lining is TNA that's the only reminisce of the old hardcore fast paced adrenaline filled take no names wrestling. :-(

  7. i think they should bring it back cos it cant be any more shiter than what the wwe is showing us now

if not at least bring back masked kane :)

  8. I made a comment in one of my questions that WWE is slowly but surly bringing the attitude error back. I should have said, they are slowly but surly reviving some of the some of the backbone storylines and match types of that era that made those years what they really were. Im talking about the undertaker and kane fued (masked kane), The brood story line, stonecold vs vince in a battle of words, hardcore matches, I quit matches, first blood, INFERNO, and alot of outside of the venue locations (vince in hospital when austin beats him up, undertaker abomination at the morgue, stonecold booker T at the grocery store, etc) Pretty much very interesting and exciting events that took place on a weekly basis. I do agree that it would be rediculous for 40 year old man to act like teenage rebels and shoot canons at an ECW event...thats not what im asking for the WWE to do. Im not asking for the rock of stonecold to come back because they really cant (well the rock can but he wont). Im asking to get out of the "PG era" as someone called it, and get back to the exciting storylines that lived during the attitude era. Like i dont want the WWE to have "attitude" under WWE during broadcasts because like you said, people would be expecting the greatness of the original attitude era, and they would be in for a disapointment. I think they need to realize that most people watching Raw Is War, dont want to see 2 hours of basic heel vs face matches with DQ, countout, no interferance, cheesy trash talk, basically a "real" wrestling match. The fans dont want that. Im sure you dont want that. We, as fans, need to know that when we turn on Raw or Smackdown, we are going to see a action packed, drama fulled night full of intense story lines, interesting match types like a burried alive match, and also some epic special effects (IE edge falling through ring during summerslam and "going to h**l" in a firey explosion) WE NEED THIS. I stopped watching WWE for sevral years because it was extremelt boring. I came back at the right time! Let me tell ya something. Ive been watching again for about a year now, and every week i see a transformation in the way the show plays out. No longer are there BS matches between 2 no named guys that no one cars about, (thats what TNA is for =]). The last 2 months i give WWE a ton of credit. After each show i have been literally at the edge of my seat trying to think whats gong to happen on the next show and i play through scenarios in my mind all week untill the next show. They have me hooked right now. Im hooked because each show, in my mind, is hinting at some of the storylines that took place during the attitude era. Thats whats keeping me going. I know that in due time, WWE will be like the old WWF. TRUST ME. Its not going to be titled "The attitude era", but i can sure as h**l promise we will be in it.

  9. That's really a moot point to me. I don't think anyone wants the Attitude era to comeback. It's a matter of what we have we had memorable that can make us remember the Era after 2002. What era would even called this? (2003-2008) We haven't had anything special during this period of wrestling.

We can easily say, remember when Austin did this to McMahon? Remember what the Rock said to Angle? What about Foley when did this? Or when DX did that? Think about it...

Hey I wouldn't mind having a friendly debate/discussion with you on this topic.
