Before I saw the news I had no idea, do you think this is irresponsible reporting? Not that I would ever do it but there are many idiots about now who could.

  1. Yes, I thought that was a bit weird.

    And Veritas, Samwell?? lol

  2. No highly irresponsible, they should be writing sings like this:

    What what, in the butt?

I said What what, in the butt?

    What what, in the butt?

I said What what, in the butt?

    ABORT! ABORT!

  3. Quite irresponsible, but it was only a list.

  4. Anyone driven enough to actually contemplate building a bomb will already know or have found out more than the news is likely to tell you.

If it were to be irresponsible, they'd get Delia to run us through it in her kitchen step by step, but she'd use store-bought fireworks instead.

  5. It has been possible to find instructions on how to make bombs, and lists of the required ingredients, on the internet for many years!

A brief mention in a news item is not that significant really.

  6. They did not give exact quantities or other important details. If you made a bomb using that information the only thing you'll blow up is yourself.

  7. I would imagine that the sort of people who make bombs know exactly how to do it without the aid of the BBC.  This information is readily available on the internet if you know where to look which, terrorists do.

  8. i think if anyone is intent on using a bomb and doing damage

there's plenty of info out there to make one...

  9. Back in the day (the 60's!) you could buy openly "The Anarchist's Cookbook" which had full, detailed instructions in producing explosive devices of all kinds.

More to the point the REAL terrorists have access to the real stuff and don't need to make their own.

  10. There will be websites that will teach how to make explosives in detail anyway and the BBC won't have said how to detonate the bombs or given the exact mixtures of chemicals required....suppose it's still irresponsible of them though

  11. Yeah it is quite irresponsible because publicising the 'ingredients' doesn't help at all. However, anyone (any idiot) could google bomb recipe and find one that uses goods found in supermarkets etc so the BBC aren't doing anything wrong.

It could even be argued that you are highlighting the idea more by asking this question! And we are by taking notice! What a PC world we live in

  12. well yes it is irresponsible but this information is widely available on the Internet

    It's hardly news

  13. the Internet supplies more info on that subject than the BBC, more than likely the Beeb has left out a vital ingredient (that is usual practise) they have advisors on subjects such as this and everything is vetted before it goes on air.

  14. yes its very irresponsible its worrying that they havent thought about these things, damnright outrageous really.

just becuase someone could google the recipe doesnt mean we should make them aware of how easy it is....its bad enought they can find out over the net, lets not serve the recipie up on a plate now (excuse the pun)....ppl who criticise PC are just tired with it....but that dosent make it wrong. Lets all retun to a world where the word "golliwog" is common language shall we? I think not.

Ppl who criticise PC are only thinking of themselves and as such they annoy me.

  15. Yes, that is defiantly irresponsible reporting.

Edit: Know I didn't know that, so it isn't 'common knowledge' but if they only mentioned that stuff then it isn't as bad as I thought.

  16. I saw it as well....its common knowledge that Hydrogen Peroxide can be used as an explosive....it didnt give the recipe though.
