The Bahamas?

Hey, has anyone ever been to The Bahamas?

I want to know what the place is like what things can I do there and how friendly the people are

Yes we just went last November, we went on a cruise to Nassau and Key West..it was wonderful. The cruise was only 300 a person and all the food is included..cruises are very nice and great value. We flew from California to Miami. We went to Cabbage Beach, my husband had so much fun in the water, the sand was fluffy and thick, water is so nice but it was a little rough.

Some men on the beach were selling rum in coconuts....but we did not drink we just had fun on the beach and enjoyed the day. Most of the time we were on the ship so our experience did not include the town really. We can't wait to go back. I imagine that a trip to the Bahamas can be as diverse as the people who go there.
