The Barclays Singapore Open is one starry field
The Barclays Singapore Open will begin from the 11th of November to host an event worth players of top form. The all star field which will continue till the 14th of November includes golfers like Noh Seung-yul and Matteo Manassero,
who are currently known as the famous Asian Tour money leaders.
The Sentosa Golf Club will also be a congregation of superstars from the current US Open, USPGA Championship, last week’s HSBC Championship, player number three and four from the Golf World ranking, and seven Ryder Cup performers.
From the World Golf Rankings, the US $ 6 million field is welcoming Martin Kaymer and Phil Mickelson as the top contenders. But the Sentosa Island of Singapore has plans on providing a rather tough time to these golfers as the defending champion Ian Poulter
and Padraig Harrington has also promised to appear at the event.
From the sparkling greens of China, Francesco Molinari charges Singapore after his win at the HSBC Champions event last week. With a total of 269 with a minus 19 at the Sheshan International GC, it’s hard to imagine what the twenty-eight year old has planned
for this event. With such a demanding season, the Italian golfer is facing a rather mentally challenging week as well due to his amazing lead from start till the end at the Sheshan GC.
The HSBC event also included Graeme McDowell along with the Italian golfer but he failed to display any prominent performance at the event. However, the thirty-one year old is still considered a major threat bearing in mind his victory at the U.S. Open.
The event was held in Spain and has placed the golfer from Northern Island to stand at number ten in the Golf World Ranking.
Singapore is also currently threatened by Adam Scott as he has been able to claim gleaming numbers in nearly every field he has stepped in lately. He has the record of winning the 2005 as well as the 2006 event held in the same country and has been able
to finish third in 2009.  The golfer from Queensland will be returning with his history of wins at this course and has declared it as one of his favourite hunting grounds.
The Barclays Singapore Open held this week has been able to attract a sizeable amount of World class golfers, but failed to attract the entire rivalry basket due to its clash with the Australian Masters. This event will be held in Melbourne and has been
able to pull a rather small amount of the top crème due to the huge prize-money of the BS Open.
