Can anyone please tell me how much it cost to build Batman the Ride in Six Flags Great America?

How long does it take to get to the top of the coaster and the power of the engine required to lift to the top in watts?

  1. Well, I'm from NJ and Great Adventure has the same Batman ride so here's the facts:

The height of the ride at Great Adventure is 105 ft, but at Great America it's a few feet taller at 109 ft. The maximum speed of the ride (both models) is 50 mph. It takes about 30-40 seconds to reach the top of the lift hill, depending on the lift chain speed. At Great Adventure, it's around 27 seconds. But as for the watts in the cable engine, that varies by each ride and there really isn't a way to find out that information. Since parts are added and removed each season, the watts change almost every year. Lastly, Batman: The Ride cost around $6,500,000 to build in 1993 at Great Adventure, so I'm assuming that Great America spent around that as well.

  2. I don't agree with the 6.5 million pricetag that the person above said. Raptor which is the longer version of the ride costs $11.5 million. So, I'm thinking it's like 9 million because you have to remember that Batman the Ride is themed well, and Raptor isn't at all.
