The Battle Between Man and Machine (Sansa Fuze)

Question

So I got this brand spakin new, s**y sansa fuze mp3 player for my birthday. But everytime I plug it in and start up windows media player, then try to copy music, videos or anything onto it, it tells me that it can't detect a device. I've tried all the "help" options of windows media and none of them actually...ha...HELP. Anyone got any bright ideas I'd love you forever for?

Have you tried downloading the drivers for the player?  You can find them on Sandisk's website in the downloads section of the site.  That should let your computer detect the Fuze.
