The Beast within Your Heart
Once upon a time
Not so long ago
I met the queen of my heart
She ruled with love
She made me so happy
Have you ever been in love?
Have you ever felt happiness?
Why did you let the beast in your heart win?
Why did you break our love?
Why, Oh why, Oh why?
She used to make me smile
Used to take away my tears
She used to tell me her fears
Used to tell me her dreams too
She said I made her happy
Have you ever been in love?
Have you ever felt happiness?
Why did you let the beast in your heart win?
Why did you break our love?
Why, Oh why, Oh why?
We used to plan for the future
Used to say we would be together forever
We planned where we would live when we were older
And how many children we would have too
That’s when you took one look and decided to take it all away

I guess I will never know the answers
I guess I won’t have happiness
I hope you can find peace
I hope one day you can find love too
But remember that my love for her is forever
I will love her forever and ever
