The Rolling Stones are very acclaimed, as well as The Beatles, but in this case, I would have to say The Beatles. They are one of the greatest bands of all time, and all together with the Lennon/McCartney songwriting partnership and melodic tunes, The Beatles are a band, that no matter what age you are, or where you come from, everyone and anyone can relate to.

Rolling Stones for how the music sounds, their stuff I can listen too on a daily basis. The Beatles for songwriting, waaaaaaay better then the Stones!

But to listen to the music, is very... hum-drum (dreary)

The Beatles definitely. I was a teenager when they first came to the States. I was MADLY in love with Paul.

None of the Stones ever made that impression on me.
