The Belle Vue meeting scheduled on the 8th of November 2011
The track of Belle Vue scheduled ten Grade OR chases on the 8th of November 2011, in urge to win the handsome purse that the hounds had to cover different trips. All of the races had their own prominence, but the Betfair Laurels Finals entailed
the most handsome purse, £6,000 which was impressively won by Eden Star.
Trainer B Draper was very proud by his two-year-old hound’s phenomenal performance. While mentioning his fourth title win and the conclusion for this year’s earnings, Barrie Draper aforementioned “He’s done well, you’re always thinking will the puppy form
be strong enough for all-aged company and they were good Category One dogs chasing him home. I’d say he’s done enough for the year now, you don’t know how the weather is going to turn in the next month.”
Due to his past amazing performances in the Puppy Derby,  few Sheffield events and the Romford Puppy Cup, the hound will be sent in with the 16 – 1 odds in the 2012 Williamhill.com Greyhound Derby entailing the purse of £150,000.
Besides Eden Star’s triumph the other two fortunate hounds who assisted in bringing festivity at the Draper Kennel was Capoley Ash and Brave Display.
Covering the distance of 470 meters in the Betfair iPhone and Android App, the trap 6 racer Brave Display inspiringly crossed the finished line and confirmed her ownership for the £500 purse.
Whereas Capoley Ash who was sent in as the most ideal hound, took full advantage of his abrupt pace and won the purse of £500 in the Betfair Support The Prostate Cancer Charity event, by over throwing M A Wallis’s Ayamzagirl.
Along with the victories of B Draper’s hounds there were other trainers who were fortunate enough to win the prize money in the Betfair sponsored events.
Ballymac Denis, who was not in as the most ideal hound, astonished everyone with his amazing start. Trainer S M Buckland’s brindle dog took 27.60 seconds and crossed the wire in order to win the £500 purse against Vatican Stein.
D Childs was also given a chance to sing the songs of praise to his hounds Baltylum Houdini and Droopys Lorenzo. Both hounds fantastically got hold of the wire at first place by covering the similar distance of 470 meters, and won the £500 purse for their
trainer.
Droopys Lorenzo was not sent in with the most favourite odds, but his courageous chase assisted him throughout his quest. While discussing his previous injury at the Romford track D Childs said “His mother bred Droopys Bradley, so he’s bred to stay well
enough and he’s doing that now. We came without a look which isn’t easy, but we’ll look to come back for the Manchester Puppy Cup now.”
Judicial Academy, who got his British record of five starts and five wins, amazingly won the 590 meters chase the You’re better off on Betfair for trainer G Oswald.
Winners from each event were given an opportunity to push the boat out, due to their hound’s impressive performance, but Eden Star’s win was spotlighted throughout the Belle Vue meeting.
