The Best Coffee To Really Wake You Up?

Question

Hello, my head is tired every morning and unproductive. Does anyone know of any coffee beans/powder (Bought Retail - Toronto Ontario) which is really strong and can energize you for the day?

Where I work, the building has really strong expresso which energizes me heavily. No one seems to know the make of the beans or where I can get it.

If you know of any which can be bought in stores here in Southern Ontario, I'd appreciate it.

Espresso gives you that jolt because it's very concentrated.  

In my experience, any caffeinated coffee will do the job, but Starbucks brews the strongest, best tasting coffee.  They also sell whole beans in about 20 different varieties (espresso blend included) and will grind them for you at the store if you ask.  My favorites (bold and extra bold blends) are Verona, Sumatra and Komodo.

Actually, espresso has LESS caffeine than regular coffee:)  The more the beans are roasted, the less caffeine they have;  although if you have 2+ shots of espresso, it all evens out:) ....  Try Komodo Dragon beans from Starbuck's ....  and, if you get fresh beans at the grocery store, they'll usually have the strength listed on them......

I would try the Great Canadian Coffee,a President's Choice brand sold at No Frill's or Loblaw's Super Center Store.This coffee is so delicious.I believe it comes in different strengths.You can also get Expresso Coffee at various grocery stores.Also try different coffee shops.Hope I have been of some help to you.Any strength of coffee gets me going in the morning.
