The Best Fifteen Football Players Of The World: In A Single Team Line Up - Part 1
Singling out the very best is a strenuous task and depends on one’s own personal views and as every other person has a different opinion, it is very difficult to make them agree with you.
This article singles out the best fifteen players in the world as a team, it consists of two goalies, three forwards, five midfielders and five defenders.
Also if this list looks to be just from the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga then that is only because they have the best players in the world.
So here it is:
Iker Casillas: Goalkeeper
Iker Casillas, the twenty nine year old Spaniard is without a doubt one of the best show stoppers in the world. He has the ability to keep the ball out of the goals posts and amazing reflexes. He is considered to be the best goal keeper in the world.
This goalie prefers to parry the ball and is not the best handler out there but he gets the job done but he has extraordinary point blank saving abilities and dives for the ball without any fear of losing the catch.
He is a pure Real Madrid player and as golden as you can find, he joined the Real Madrid youth academy in 1990 and never left and has been a part of the national Spanish squad from the under fifteen team.
Whenever the Los Blancos let in a goal it’s more of an outcome because of the team’s defences rather than the goal keepers and this seems to be changing this season as well.
Iker Casillas rose to super stardom when he came out of the Champions League final match in 2001 from the Cesar’s stadium against Bayer Leverkusen. The match consisted of the goal keeper make some absolutely mesmerizing saves that denied the German team
the equalizer.
Plus there is one thing that can’t be argued and that is that you need to have some h**l of a talent to be chosen as Real Madrid’s goal keeper in the starting line up, just as a teenager.
Gianluigi Buffon: Goalkeeper
Gianluigi Buffon is thought to be one of the most complete goalies in the world. This thirty two year old Italian goal keeper plays for Juventus and the Italian national team.
He has almost the same scores as Iker Casillas when it comes to stop the ball but Buffon is definitely better when it comes to dealing with crosses and is even considered to be better in organizing the team’s defence. Also considering the fact that Casillas
is the Spanish team and Madrid’s captain so this is a major key point.
Gianluigi Buffon is a World Cup winner as well; he has won numerous titles, award and broken many records for the Italians and Juventus. He even decided to stick with Juventus after their scandalous relegation and brought back the team from the lower tiers
and is loved for his loyalty. He is a great person and a great goalkeeper.
Dani Alves: Right Back
This twenty seven year old Brazilian player is the of unlimited talent, it also comes as a shocker as he was a Bahia player till 2002 and only made a made to Sevilla after he was sent there on loan.
Dani Alves in an attacker and plays on the right side of the field and feels that he can be a great asset to the team while playing at the right winger position as well.
