in this wedding I was in. I knew everyone in the wedding, but this guy. He lives in a different state but live in my city for 5 years. Well put together, great job, cute, single, seems cool. Between the bride and the bridesmaids and everyone else in life, the wedding had a lot of commotion, so I didn't get to really try to get to know him. I introduced myself. He was friendly towards me. I asked him to dance at the reception because he didn't really know anyone. We chatted and seemed to hit it off. At the end of the song I told him we'd have to dance again, he said he was "all for that. Let me know." By the end of the reception I was trying to get to him to ask if he wanted to go hang with a bunch of us at a jazz club afterwards. But EVERYONE IN LIFE was stopping me for pictures and by the time I was finished I was gone. A friend of mine and her husband drove him to his car afterwards and she overheard his convo with his brother on his phone. He said the groom's family was trying to fix him up with someone at the wedding he wasn't feeling. BUT their was a girl who asked him to dance that was cool and cute!?! UM hello? ME!

I want to contact him and try to get to know him, I was impressed. The bride's sister had my phone during the reception b/c her phone died, she had to call him about a missing item. So I have his number, but I dare not call it, he didn't give it to me. Do I wait for the Bride & Groom to return from Honeymoon and ask them to foward the info? Do I get his address and send my business card with some pics from the wedding & ask for a call? Do I wait 2 see if he comes back and risk no one telling me he's in town?

HELP?! WWYD?

  1. Yeah you've got to call him.  Tell him about how his number got in the phone, "I hope you don't mind, that I've called but..." point out that you never got have that other dance you were supposed to and maybe he'd like to go out sometime...

    Good luck.

  2. So it's time to step up...

You have his number, explain the situation that the bride used your phone and you were trying to figure out who's number she called.

    CALL HIM!!

Or just try the direct approach... "I'm calling because I had a great time at the wedding dancing with you and I'd like to go on a date to get to know you better." (That would be my approach)

    CALL HIM!!

Then again, you could wait for someone else to do the work for you and probably miss out on something potentially great.

    CALL HIM!!(We guys love it)

    Your decision!

    Good luck!   CALL HIM!!!!
