David Silva:
David Silva is the twenty four year old Spaniard who plays as a midfielder or a winger and is a magnificent assister. He started out with Valencia’s youth academy in 2000 and then made the move to the big leagues with Valencia B in 2003 and then the first
team squad in 2004.
He spend two years being loaned out to different clubs, then another four years in the club to give a hundred and nineteen performances there with twenty one goals.
After around two hundred performances in La Liga, this player moved to the English Premier League and got signed to Manchester City on 13 June 2010.
He then made his debut in the Premiership on 14 August 2010 in the match against Lily Whites at Whitehart Lane and the match ended with the score board reading nil to nil.
David Silva has also been part of the under seventeen national team since 2002 and then moved up to the first squad of the national team in 2006. He has made forty two appearances thus far while scoring ten goals in the process.
This player has some amazing crossing skills, technique and speed so this makes him a crucial player on the field. Silva is expected to further develop his skills at Manchester City and thus prove to be a success in the English Premier League.
Luis Nani:
Luis Nani is twenty three year old and is from Portugal. He plays the winger position for the Red Devils and is also part of the Portuguese national team.
He began with Sporting CP’s youth academy in 2003 and made his first team debut for the club in 2005. He played there for two years and won the Portuguese Cup in the 2006-07 season. His performances at that time caught the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson, who eventually
signed him in 2007 for twenty five and a half million Euros.
As Cristiano Ronaldo was playing for Manchester United at the time and was from Portugal as well so these two lived together in the start. Since coming into the Premiership, this player has won one League cup in the 2008-09 season, the UEFA Champions League
in 2007-08 and two English Premier League titles.
He also caught the eye of Portuguese national team and first started with their under twenty one team in 2006 and played in that rank for three years. He was then made part of the first team squad of the national team in 2006.
Since then, Nani has given forty performances and scored nine goals. He was part of Euro 2008 and also the 2010 World Cup.
This player finished last season at an amazing form and has continued with it since the start of this season. He has been quite spectacular and earned the title of Cristiano Ronaldo’s heir at the Red Devils by Ryan Giggs.
Although, he hasn't yet developed to the level of Ronaldo but there is no doubt that Luis Nani is one of the most talented wingers.
He recently netted two goals for the Portuguese national team in the match against Denmark where he scored twice and also made an assist for Ronaldo to make the third goal. He is a world class player who keeps growing with time and never quits showcasing
his talents on the field.
