The Best Wingers In The World – Part 3
Milos Krasic:
Adding this twenty five year old Serbian to the list may come as a shock to many but it will be a surprise only for those who don’t follow him regularly and haven’t seen what he is capable of.
Milos Krasic started his professional football career with Vojvodina in 1999 and stayed there for five years only to move to CSKA Moscow in 2004 and was there for further six years.
He finally made a move to Juventus in the summer transfer window of 2010 and has so far made seven appearances with them while netting three goals.
This player has also been a part of the Serbian national team since 2006 and has made thirty nine appearances with them and all the while scored three goals.
In the 2008-09 season, he took CSKA Moscow to the quarter finals with Keizuke Honda and this season he has been performing admirably for Juventus, scoring some vital goals and making crucial assists.
He has some extraordinary dribbling skills as well as immense speed and this makes him an amazing winger.
Pedro Rodriguez:
Pedro Rodriguez is the twenty three year old Spaniard who currently plays for the Spanish national team and Barcelona FC.
He is a right footed player that plays the position of forward and winger quite commendably, he has the ability to play on both sides of the field and is excellent when it comes to finding the exact position to fire a powerful shot into the goal or to make
a valuable assist.
Rodriguez started with Barcelona B in 2007 and then made it to the first team line up in 2009. So far, he has made forty nine appearances for Barcelona and netted twelve goals.
He has also been representing his country in the under twenty one Spanish team since 2008 and then climbed the ladder to the first team in 2010. So far, he has only eleven appearances for the Spanish national team with a single goal.
He was almost an unknown figure in the football world about a year and a half ago, but now this Spaniard has made his name as one of the best wingers out there.
The 2009-10 season was a big break for Pedro as he went from an unknown player to the player that benched Thierry Henry to have a spot on the field.
He is the first player to have scored in six different major competitions during a single season and he was called up for World Cup duty. He benched Fernando Torres to get a spot in the eleven there and played his part in Spain’s World Cup victory.
Another rather astonishing fact about this player is that he outscored Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the first season that he came to Barcelona. Pedro scored twenty three goals in the last season and still has not reached his maximum potential and hence continues
to grow.
Jesus Navas:
Jesus Navas is a twenty four year old from Spain and he plays as a right winger.
He is one of those gifted wingers that can actually excel on the left side as well. He is a terrific dribbler and has the ability to run at opposing defenders and glide past them.
He is a gifted player who had a lot of difficulty showcasing his skill due to his anxiety issues as he suffers from chronic homesickness.
He started out with Sevilla and is still there, starting with the second team in 2003 and played there for a year and then got promoted to the first team in 2004.
