  1. The bible is full of achetypes; i.e.,

Samson, Moses, Jesus, David and many others in the bible are archetypes for the 'super heros' of our day.

    *Samson was super strong

*Jesus performed miracles, walked on water, controlled the waves on the sea

    *Moses parted the Red Sea

    *David slew a giant.

    Good luck!

  2. Perhaps I can help you by changing the subject to give you an idea.

"since we are studying archetypes, I understand that I am reading *comic books* because....

In comics there are many many archetypical characters. Superman is considered the perfect man - moral decisions are always correct.

Spiderman becomes that archetype when he comes to a realization that with great power comes great responsibility.

Jung talks about specific types of archetypes you can look for - the trickster, wise old man - Im sure you could find plenty examples in the bible and in comic books to talk about.

  3. Archetype, noun - a very typical example of a person or thing.

An original that has been imitated.

The archetype of faith is Abraham.
