I've always thought that it was a recurring event, you know, energy cannot be created or destroyed. But, I'm sixteen and have crappy science teachers. So anyone who's a specialist in the field, please explain? And, remember, I'm sixteen, don't shoot me. and speak in normal people speak.

  1. Yes it is a recurring event. It happens at intervals of about 135 Billion years. It is important to note that each big bang produces random results, so Earth as we know it, with all the same people will not be reproduced with the next event.
Now having said that, be advised that the Big bang events have always, happened in this cycle, and they will always happen, so eventually you could see a duplicate cosmos.
The very eternal nature of this event my friends is God, not a being or creature, but an event that encompasses all things for all eternity.
