The Big Red Monster, Kane defeats The New Nexus’ leader, CM Punk
The Monday Night featured a mystery fight for The New Nexus’ leader, CM Punk, against Kane at The Thomas and Mack Convention Centre, Las Vegas tonight. The Big Red Monster, Kane defeated Punk in ‘Mystery Opponent Match’ via count-out.
The Monday Night Raw show started with The WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels’ appearance in the ring. While Michaels was speaking with the WWE Universe, Punk interrupted him with his members, David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. The Anonymous Raw General
Manager sent an email and Michael Cole read it. The Raw GM wrote in the email that Punk is left only with three Raw shows that WWE was going to make counts. It was stated in the mail that opponent would be decided for Punk by spinning the wheel.
At the backstage, Booker T spun the wheel that stopped on a question mark sign. It meant that Punk had to face Mystery opponent and that was Kane. The Showstopper left the ring and the first match started between Kane and Punk. Kane got the momentum over
Punk and started working over him. Kane took him on the corner, while beating him and hitting his forearm shots on Punk’s back. Then Kane hit Punk a dropkick and pinned for two falls. Soon Punk made a comeback and tried to fly from the top ropes. But Kane
countered and grabbed him for his finishing move Chokeslam. Punk survived by kicking and stomping Kane. Now Punk got momentum and start hitting with several Kneedrops to Kane’s head.
Punk tried to pick up Kane for GTS, but Kane countered and grabbed him for Chokeslam again. Punk survived once again and went to the top rope for Supersuplex. Kane countered with head butts to Punk that dropped him on the mat. Punk left the ring and started
walking towards the ramp. The referee counted ten and Kane won the fight via count-out. Punk went to his locker room without taking care of it.
Punk also misbehaved with The WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, John Cena and The Rock that caused his quick suspension from WWE. There are so many confusions for his match against Cena in ‘Money in the Bank’ on July 17.
